I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Supervisor with over 10 years of experience. I believe in utilizing a holistic approach to collaborating with and empowering clients as they address their reproductive mental health concerns.
I earned a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University Theological Seminary and Graduate School in 2009 and a Master of Social Work degree from Florida State University in 2011. I also earned a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) degree from Barry University in August 2024. I have been an LCSW in the State of Florida since 2014 and am qualified to provide clinical supervision for registered clinical social work, mental health, and marriage and family interns seeking licensure in the state of Florida.
I am certified in complex trauma, perinatal mental health, yoga, integrative nutrition, and as a birth doula. My previous experience includes serving in the Florida Army National Guard for 10 years, five of those years as a Behavioral Health Specialist, and nine years as a school social worker for Polk County Public Schools in the Homeless Education program. I have provided mental health counseling since 2016. I utilize Solution-Focused, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral, and Narrative Therapy elements to provide holistic counseling services.
I am currently working on certifications in integrative nutrition for mental health and mental health for infertility.
